Our Story
Mamma's Kitchen was opened in the winter of 2009 and was the culmination of both my creative and business passions. Growing up in a family of restaurant owners, I observed my mother's own techniques and developed a personal style of creative, original interpretations of some of her traditional Greek and Italian favorites.
The goal of Mamma's Kitchen is to bring wonderfully flavored Mediterranean cuisine to Alexandria, made from the freshest, most delicious ingredients prepared in simple, accessible ways. Mamma's Kitchen has an intimate dining room with an open kitchen featuring our wood fired brick oven to serve you year round. Our outdoor dining area is an inviting escape during the warmer months.
Our motto is: "If it's good enough for Mamma…then it's good enough for our customers!" You are not going to have a chain restaurant experience!
We also do off site catering and would love to be a part of your special event.
